Headend software you run yourself.
Castreon captures TV channels from the network, from DVB cards and SAT>IP tuners, IP cameras or your own files, transcodes them on CPU or GPU and delivers them to apps, set-top boxes, video platforms and CDNs — from a Linux server of your own, managed in one web panel.

Who is behind Castreon
Castreon is developed and sold by Web Tools IT, a company in Germany. Contracts follow German law, invoices are issued in Germany, and the website and customer accounts are hosted in the EU.
How we work
Your server, your data
Castreon runs on your hardware. Channels, sources, keys, recordings and viewer data stay there — we have no access to them.
No lock-in
Monthly licenses without a minimum term. If you cancel, your configuration stays on your server, untouched.
Out in the open
Every release is listed with its changes in the public changelog, and the documentation can be read by anyone, without an account.
Real screenshots
The pictures on this website are taken from the actual panel on a demo server — no mock-ups.
